Non-Turf Weed Control
Save time, money and the labor of pulling weeds in mulch beds and
non-turf areas. The application of mulch around ornaments is beneficial
in several ways: conservation of soil moisture, reduces soil erosion,
water loss and weeds. Mulch, however, cannot control all weeds,
therefore the use of week controls both pre-emergent and post-emergent
will help reduce unsightly weed growth in mulched areas. SeaScape
can apply up to 6 applications of weed control to mulched/non-turf
areas between March and August. These treatments will significantly
reduce existing weeds and minimize new weed growth.

Micro-Injection Program
The Micro-Injection technique which places insect and disease controls
directly into the plants vascular system, has many advantages. Some
of these advantages are:
- Large trees (over 20') and specimen trees that are not easily
sprayed can be treated very effectively with less controls applied.
- The ability to apply controls without spraying eliminates spray
drift in sensitive areas.
- Preventive treatments can be used in situations where controls
must be in place before pests affect plants (i.e., Anthracnose,
Fire Bright, Verticillium Wilt, Bronze Birch Borer, Wooley Adelgid.
- Longer control because treatments are contained entirely within
this plant, providing excellent residual control.
- Only pests affecting plants living tissue are controlled, allowing
beneficial species sharing the environment to be unaffected.
All together, these advantages make the Micro-Injection Technique
an economical, effective, environmentally responsible choice.

Mycorrhizae - Nature's Tree Protection
Mycorrhizae, which means "fungus root", work as an extension
of the plant's roots to help the plant take up nutrients and water
in exchange for steady source of sugars. Benefits to trees are:
better feeder root development; improving water and nutrient absorption,
protection from soil-borne diseases, improving plant longevity and
survival, higher transplant survival rates and less damage from
drought.
In town/city settings, mycorrhizal fungi are often not present.
This soil conditioning program will provide optimal conditions for
plant growth and survival.

Deer Repellent
Many homeowners are experiencing significant damage to their expensive
ornamental trees and shrubs from deer feeding. SeaScape offers a
deer repellent program designed to help protect your valuable plantings
from being damaged by the expanding number of deer in our area.
This university tested program combined the use of liquid and granular
scent and taste aversions on a regular schedule to discourage deer
from damaging your plant material. These products are used in rotation
to better modify deer-feeding, and also will help reduce the activity
of ticks bearing lyme disease on your property.
