Q. How long before my lawn begins to green up?
A. Approximately 2-3 weeks. Rainfall or irrigation will enhance green-up. Cool temperatures or drought conditions will delay green-up.

Q. How long before thin areas in my lawn begin to fill in?
A. Your lawn will begin to fill in shortly after the first treatment, but the rate of filling in or thickening is slower than the rate of green-up.

Q. How long before my weeds are controlled?
Most weeds in your lawn will take approximately 2 weeks to show signs of dying after your first SeaScape treatment. Dandelions will continue to flower for 2-3 weeks after treatment, but they are dying. Lawns heavily infested with weeds will require 2-3 applications for thorough weed control.

Q. Do I need to water my lawn after a SeaScape application?
Generally not, however, if certain insecticides or grub controls are applied they should be watered in to move them into the soil and enhance effectiveness. SeaScape will leave you a note to water when such insecticides are applied.

Q. Can I mow my lawn just before or after a SeaScape application?
A. Yes, SeaScape's granular fertilizer applications fall down to the thatch and soil. Mowing does not affect our applications, even if you bag the clippings (which we do not recommend.)

Q. What if I have a problem with my lawn between applications?
Simply give us a call to schedule a FREE service call. Because SeaScape only visits your lawn approximately every 5-7 weeks, we rely on our customers to call us if they spot a developing problem.

Q. How will I know when SeaScape will be making applications?
A. SeaScape will call ahead a few days before each application. Often we call and get an answering machine. In such cases we will leave a message. However, if your lawn is due for its next application and after several attempts we are not able to reach you or an answering machine, we will do your application unless you previously have told us you must be reached prior to applications.

Q. Do I need to be home when SeaScape comes out to treat my lawn?
A. No. The office will call ahead to let you know when we are coming. However, we do not need to speak to you before we treat your lawn.

Q. When can my children and pets go back on the lawn after SeaScape has made an application?
A. Unless you are told otherwise, children and pets may reenter the lawn 45-60 minutes after a SeaScape application. Reentry time will increase if certain insecticides are applied. In this case, SeaScape will notify you on your invoice.
